Based on an Urban Ghost Story, Harold tells the tale of two young farmers who decide to build a scarecrow to ward off birds. The scarecrow they build bears a marked resemblance to their hated rival, Harold, and they start to take out their aggressions on the lifeless dummy. As their abuses increase, the two young men start to believe that the scarecrow is showing signs of life... and he isn't very happy.
